Good things deserve a second life.

What's on your repair pile?

One item per person is a good start.

Plug it in.

Small household favourites that have stopped doing their thing.

Lamps · Radios · Small appliances

Stitch it up.

Everyday clothes with a little more life left in them.

Seams · Buttons · Simple mending

Roll again.

A bit of care to get your daily ride back on the road.

Punctures · Brakes · Basic tune-ups

Please leave microwaves, gas appliances and swollen batteries at home. Not sure about your item? Ask in the clinic thread.

Your first visit

You don't need to be good at fixing things.

That's what we're here for. Tell us what broke in the forum thread so our volunteers can prepare. Then come along and work through it together.

  • What to bring

    • One clean item you can carry.
    • Its cable, charger or missing parts.
    • A short description of what went wrong.
    • A bag to take everything home.
    • A little patience and curiosity.

From the workbench

The conversation keeps going.

A few good questions

No booking is needed. Reply to the meetup thread with your item so volunteers know what to expect. Repairs are first come, first served.

Volunteer time and shared tools are free. If a repair needs a replacement part, we'll discuss it with you before you buy anything.

Some repairs need more time or a specialist. We'll explain what we found and help you work out the next step. Please take your item home with you.

Absolutely. We need friendly hosts, tea makers and people who enjoy sharing a skill. Introduce yourself in the meetup thread and tell us how you'd like to help.
