Before you head out

A few good questions.

There's no such thing as a beginner question. We've all started somewhere.

No. We set up shared telescopes at every observing night, and our volunteers will help you use them. Bring binoculars if you have a pair.

We post a weather update in the community on the afternoon of each session. When skies don't cooperate, we'll offer an indoor talk or arrange another night.

Absolutely. Our open nights welcome curious minds of every age. Children should stay with an adult, and warm clothing is a good idea for everyone.

Your next favourite place is up.

Find your people. Find your first planet. See you outside.
